Grants Guideline....

BWF works with its partners NGOs. The selection criteria are

‡    Organizations should be rural based, having women leaderships and participants;

‡    Organization should have working areas and target groups;

‡    Groups have or own office and working areas in own locality;

‡    The organization must be registered with Department of Women Affairs/other legal authority;

‡    Organizations engaged in work with women’s rights related issue, like violence against women, empowerment and rights, Micro-credit program, Training    program etc.

‡    Work on women’s rights and defends violence against women and girls;

‡    Group is not directly or indirectly involved in political party or religious groups;

Grant Making Process:

•    A preliminary Assessment Form is used to determine the basic status of the organizations. Based on organizational profile a baseline report prepared by field review committee;

•    A short listed proposals only select for field review and apprised by field visits by the field review committee;

•    Report of the appraisal finalize the short listing process;

•    Final selection are mad by the Grant Making Committee headed by the chairperson of NUK;

•    The GMC reserve the rights to approve or reject the grant proposals;
